The City Museum, more formally known as the Archaeological Museum Umerkot or Thar Museum, is located within Umerkot Fort in Umerkot District, Sindh Province, Pakistan . Established initially in 1968 and relocated to a newer building in 2006, it features three galleries and two lobbies displaying a diverse collection of artifacts .

Inside, visitors will find Mughal-era coins, ancient weapons such as swords, pistols, bows and helmets, alongside royal documents, manuscripts, and exquisite calligraphy pieces . Photographic exhibitions also portray everyday life in the Tharparkar region, offering insights into the local culture and history
