Niaz International Cricket Stadium
Niaz Stadium, established in 1959 and named after then-Commissioner Niaz Ahmed, is the major cricket venue in Hyderabad and the only international Test ground in Sindh outside Karachi. With a seating capacity of approximately 15,000, the stadium hosted five Test matches—including Pakistan’s drawn contest in cricket’s historic 1,000th Test in 1984—and seven ODIs, one of which featured Australia during the 1982‑83 tour where Jalal‑ud‑Din claimed the first-ever ODI hat‑trick .
