The University of Sindh, commonly known as Sindh University, is a public research university located in Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan. Established in 1947 in Karachi, the university was relocated to Hyderabad in 1951 and later to its current campus in Jamshoro in the late 1950s. The Jamshoro campus, situated approximately 15 kilometers from Hyderabad on the right bank of the Indus River, was named Allama I.I. Kazi Campus in honor of the renowned scholar and former vice-chancellor, Imdad Ali Imam Ali Kazi
